blurb

Sai-Ko is a collection of twelve stories that will take you to the depths of human nature, a scuba dive incursion into the unconscious mind. Deliciously dark, savoury and funny, this book is written with undisguised frankness, offering a glimpse into the post-Communist society in a country sentenced to live with the scars of war.

Love and betrayal on the dancefloor…

He may have won last year, but Dane is not about to let his ex, Sacha, get the better of him.

He will be number one again, but at what cost?

Pushing Maddi to her limits, he finds himself broken and alone, wondering what the hell happened.

Maddi finds what she’s been missing in shy guy, Ricki. He cares more about her than he ever could about winning.

Dane wants Maddi back and will do anything to prove his love for her. He’ll make her see how good they were together. How good they could be once again.

On a path of self-destruction, Sacha is on a downward spiral.  With no one to turn to, and no idea how to fix things, she finds comfort in the bottom of a bottle.

Like Mother, like daughter.

In the blink of an eye, their whole world is shattered as friends fight to make things right.

blurb

IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND PREGNANT?

How ready are you for that?

How would you deal with becoming a parent before
you’ve left school?

One thing’s for sure, you can’t unmake babies. A fact that’s borne in on Peter Knight and Samantha Smithson, sixth formers at the South East Comprehensive in Deptford, living at a time when many parents are still of the old
school and pregnancy outside marriage carries a stigma.
Having to face their parents, their school friends, teachers and gossip is only
the beginning. Pete’s plans for university are scotched as he must seek
work and accommodation suitable for a young family. And all
the time he still wants to have fun, with ‘friends’ quite
happy to tempt him to do it.

As for Samantha, abortion is no easy option. Yet as her health and
her faith in Peter goes up and down, she may have
to think the unthinkable.

What type of book do you like to read?  I love thrillers, suspense, anything that will have me on the edge of my seat. I also like a good ugly cry book. I’ll read most things though, as long as the storyline is compelling and the characters are relatable.
Do you like listening to music while you’re writing?  I prefer to write in silence, but I don’t mind a little music in the background. I definitely prefer music over TV as a background to writing.
What made you want to write?  I’ve always loved reading and writing. As a teen I tried unsuccessfully to write stories – I could never figure out how to get from point A to point B. A few years ago I completed my proofreading qualification, and as a joke, I suggested to my friend that we write a book to make some money.  That thought stuck with me, and after reading Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, I had the inspiration to give it a go. She was the first author I started following, and I guess she rubbed off on me lol
Do you have any other hobbies?  Yes. Obviously, reading 🙂 but I also love to dance. I used to teach salsa in the evenings, and at one point I was dancing every day, for hours a day. It was like breathing for me.
I also like to do puzzles and cross-stitch when I have the time.
